Over the years, I have applied many styles of all kinds of illustrations and infographics., almost all made digitally. But when I started in the early eighties, graphic design on a computer was not common. I started out around 1980 with selling calligraphy and illustrations. I did landscapes, portraits, landmark buildings in pen drawings and aquarel. For advertising it got more professional when I bought a compressor and an airbrush. Some of that older work is shown in the caroussels below.

Like every professional, I use Photoshop a lot - like on the impossible pentagram, inspired on MC Escher’s most iconic works (and with the use of his puppets in there). Sometimes I still return to the crafty handwork - like the illustration of me and my wife Marit visiting London in March 2025 (with the great Tim Burton exhibition).
